I spent 10 days in December. Comments - The TV selection is poor and the TVs consistent are doing "updates". Please include smart TVs for streaming. Also, I've stayed with you since 2001, it seems like the breakfast buffet has degraded with time. There is less selection of fresh fruit, the Tea used to include "TWG Singapore blend", and the honey is difficult to get out of the dispenser.

There was no one present during check-in at the counter. After finding a staff member, she was unable to locate my booking despite the booking reference number being clearly shown on my accor app and she had to repeatedly ask someone else for help. She did not seem to know what she was doing. There was a room upgrade available but she just skipped past it and pretended to ignore the notification. The room itself was alright. However there was practically nothing in the fridge or snacks. Although there was a box of Christmas cookies present, the cookies tasted flat and sordid. I requested for a late check out 3 times 1) During Check-in and was told to call back the next day 2) On the 2nd day, and was then told to check back again on the checkout day 3) On the checkout day itself at 8.30am and was told that they were unsure. Never really had this disappointing experience before. The only saving grace was probably the staff at Stamford Brasseire on 27th December when I redeemed the complimentary drink. The service was good, but the drinks were average and nothing to shout about. If this is a Swiss level of hospitality, it is a very low bar indeed.

I’ve stayed in Swissotel the Stamford Singapore several times in the past. The previous Swissotel service is remarkable and all of their staffs were really great and helpful. Also, within the year, I stayed at several Accor Hotels like Fairmont, Pullman Hill Street, Pullman Orchard, and Mercure Bugis. All of them had great service. BUT, the Swissotel right now all of the previous staffs are gone and the NEW ONES are really really RUDE. The service right now doesn’t deserve the 5-star hotel recognitions they have. Even though the rooms in Swissotel have excellent views for Marina Bay, I highly advise to stay away from this hotel. High probability, on the Check-In you will be met with rude staffs who doesn’t respect their customers no matter what kind of Accor membership tier you have. I don’t even know how did the hotel management hire this new staffs and passed their standards. Really disappointed with the new management of this hotel. Most likely, this will be my last time staying in Swissotel, and might not go to other Accor hotels in this case.

1. WiFi network is bad! horrible for work to be done in the room. We were 6 employees on 6 different rooms on different floors and all had trouble with working on PCs. This is 2026 next week. You have range-controlled Wi-Fi network. Why do you need to have sophisticated logins using usernames and passwords like it's 2015?! Please advance. 2. I had gunk in the bathroom sink, reported and they painted my sink, which made the room smell like renovation - not very habitable. Then needed to beg for room switch (lost marina view but was never promised so...) 3. Breakfast cue too long for business travel. We had exactly 30 minutes to eat before the ride to the office, and we spent 25 of them in the cue to the dining room, first 5 minutes on 2'nd floor and then another 20 minutes on 70'th floor cue. Not the best way to start your day (hungry and frustrated). 4. Shower water temp control stuck. It's either too cold or too hot as the handle on room 2571 is moving hard. the showerhead had a side squirt that made the towels wet. 5. All the other things were amazing. Atmosphere, swimming pool, room setup, bed, view, location… Summary - This hotel is supposed to be pristine. Like really good! But that's not my experience, sorry. And you are there, the place is top notch, just improve the little glitches, don't let the place deteriorate to be medium.
